Sire’s currently used at Belmore

If you’re chasing predictable, commercially focused beef genetics these are the sires for you. Our sires listed here all have superb calves on the ground now, click on their name to access pedigree and EBV information.

Windsor Northern Cedar Sire: Northern Legend 3N. We have been using “Ben” successfully as a heifer sire for the last couple of seasons. Check out his 13 sons in our 2017 sale catalogue – nearly all of them are out of first calf heifers. He’s backed up a mob of spring calving cows each season as well. His photo is in his work clothes straight out of his second service mob March 2017.

Belmore Patriach F102  Sire: Northern Legend 3N. F102 breeds medium framed, meaty cattle with such consistency. EU semen rights are owned by G Turton, Nth Yorkshire. We have semen eligble for the US, Canada & South Africa.

Belmore Quantur G193  Sire: Northern Legend 3N. G193 was Senior Champion bull at the 2013 RAS. He is another great natured Legend 3N son, of a dark red roan colour. G193 has outstanding structure and is leaving impressive progeny.

Northern Legend 3N (Imp Canada). Legend has bred so well for us here at Belmore, stamping great temperaments and doing ability on his calves. His daughters have lovely udders and are proving to be excellent mothers. We have used four sons in the herd.

Yamburgan Spitfire H08 Sire: Belmore Next G D41. We purchased Spitfire from Yamburgan’s sale as a yearling and put him straight to work covering up an AI mob. His second seasont sons sell in our 2017 sale. Spitfire is a grandson of Jackaroo.

Belmore Quinella G53 Sire: Belmore Jackaroo Z109. An impressive rich red son of Jackaroo who is leaving structurally sound, growthy cattle with good EMA and fat cover.

Belmore Quare G233 Sire: Belmore Jackaroo Z109. Used as a heifer bull, G233 has a trait leading birth weight figure of +0.2 at 90% accuracy. His carcass data is really impressive with sons consistently scanning well for EMA and IMF. Sons will be available in our 2017 sale.

Belmore Quince G60 Sire: The Grove B027. Super meaty, moderate framed sire. Used as a heifer bull with a birth weight EBV of +0.5 with 90% accuracy and positive fat figures.

SPJ E Cup E5 Sire: Exmoor Dynamite. We purchased “Selwyn” at Dubbo 2011. He is leaving easy doing, easy calving progeny at Belmore. His EBV’s have improved so much over the last couple of years. Be sure to look for his sons in the 2017 sale bulls.

Marschay Juggernaut J57 Sire: Sprys Patent’s Ace G38. Solid red, short and fine coated bull to complement our impressive roan sire battery. Juggernaut’s first drop of calves have really impressed and are nearly ready to wean.

Broome NASA D159 Purchased Dubbo 2010, Gillian Leeds considers him the best bull she bred. His dam was recognised as Broome’s top cow when they were dispersed. We have his last sons available again this year.

The Grove Kookaburra W735 We’re still using Kookaburra in our AI programs. His figures are really impressive and so are the many daughters we have at Belmore.
